US Marshal Indian Territory Old West Police Badge


Here's a nice recreation of a badge used by the army of Deputy U.S. Marshals in the Indian Territory.In the 1890's one of these was Deputy U.S. Marshal James F. (Bud) Ledbetter,who captured the Al Jennings gang.He later became town Marshal of Vinita, Ok. He was also police Chief of Muskogee and later was county sheriff.
